Exciting Update for our National Park Donation, with a New Blanket

Pendleton and the National Parks

Pendleton supports the NPF through sales of National Park Collection blankets, home goods, accessories, and apparel. With your help, as of 4/25/2025, we have now contributed $2,397,998 to help protect our national Parks. That is nearly 2.4 million dollars! If you’ve made a purchase from the Pendleton Park collection, you are a vital part of this contribution. We did this together.

The National Park Service was established in 1916 to protect and America’s national parks and monuments for future generations. The National Park Foundation is essential to these preservation efforts. According to their website,

The National Park Foundation is the official charity of America’s national parks and nonprofit partner to the National Park Service. Chartered by Congress in 1967, the National Park Foundation raises private funds to help protect more than 84 million acres of national parks through critical conservation and preservation efforts, connect all people with their incomparable natural landscapes, vibrant culture and rich history, and engage the next generation of park stewards.

We thank all of you for your support. We absolutely could not do this without you.

A New Glacier National Park Blanket

To observe and honor National Park Week, we have released a new blanket named Glacier Peaks. This design shows one of Glacier’s landmarks as a tribute to the Montana park that sits below Canada, our northern neighbor.

Pendleton Glacier Peaks blanket

A still lake reflects an ice-topped mountain and the skies above it in soft ombre tones, while an eagle soars overhead. Glacier National Park sits at the border of the United States and Canada, in Montana. It is home to 26 named glaciers, marvels of compressed ice that form in and around mountainous granite peaks. Glacier was the first park celebrated with a Pendleton blanket in the early 1900s. Border stripes echo the simple stripes of earlier blankets.
